See You on the Other Side
“See You on the Other Side” is an homage to the ones in my family that have departed. It represents their “rebirth”, the vision that they are indeed in a better place. The two canvases stuck together represent both worlds. The flowers that come through the maternal opening are reminiscent of the fake flowers left on their graves so they would never be the ones with a colorless home again.
