Pushing Through

The K Street Virtual Gallery is a public outdoor art gallery featuring original, digital art projected on to the walls of the Amtrak underpass between First and Second Streets NE in NoMa.
This installation brings to life echinaceas and milkweed in a non-invasive and temporal way. Through projection in the K Street underpass in Washington, DC, native blooms burst through the stone walls, highlighting their essential role in supporting pollinators.
The installation, commissioned by NoMA BID, consists of 12 looping animated videos projected on the walls, interacting with their environments. It will be in view from spring to late fall in 2025.
